What is Recreational Soccer?

Recreational soccer primarily devotes itself to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on high-level pressure to win. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, play with a sense of team and community, learn the sport, and develop life skills including a life long love of the game.

      - There is no selection or tryout process.
      - Equal playing time.
      - All players who register are assigned to a team as long as space is available on team rosters.
      - There is usually a onetime registration fee for each 6 – 8 week season.
      - Players benefit from the opportunity of social interaction with other players of their own age.
      - Players learn basic soccer skills while benefitting from the physical fitness aspects of the game.
      - All games are usually held at the same location every weekend for the 6 – 8 week season.

Covid Restrictions During the Season

A majority of the COVID restrictions have been removed by the state. Players do not have to wear masks unless they choose to. Players who test positive for COVID (or a member in the household tests positive for COVID), must notify the club immediately. Any one exposed by a positive case, is required to quarantine for a minimum of 10 days based on the Douglas County Health guidelines. Players are not allowed to return to practice until day 11. Please use common sense, if your player is sick or does not feel well, DO NOT bring them to practices or games.

Thank you!
